TMR regular Hannah Rose Platt has dropped a uniquely dark, comedic Christmas song in the form of ‘Wendigo Rag’. It’s a “grizzly festive dark comedy song about a road trip gone wrong, and the testing of boundaries between friendship vs survival… Beware the cry of the Wendigo folks, or you may be filled with a desire for more than your turkey or nut roast this year.” It’s a melodic tune with a cheeky vocal line that feels aligned with the storytelling side of Kate Bush’s work, with distorted guitar and keys plodding along in the distance.
